Park Soyeon (박소연) is currently a Soloist under Gachi Entertainment. She ranked #18 on the finale of Produce 101 Season 1 and was unable to make it into I.O.I.
Career & History
Before Produce 101, Soyeon appeared on Kpop Star 2 in 2012. She made it to the top 10 but was eliminated.
In 2017 she auditioned for the show Mix Nine but did not pass the audition for YG.
There were rumors that she would be debuting in 2018 in a new girl group with Lee Soomin and other LOEN trainees. LOEN was updating the prospective girl group’s Instagram and Twitter account at the handle @LOENGIRLS2018. Around August 2017, the group rebranded as “Fave Girls”, as they were confirmed to be under the LOEN subsidiary FAVE Entertainment. Their usernames changed to @FAVEGIRLS2018. Soomin and Soyeon were part of that group until August 2018 when Fave announced they had left the company.
She has updated her instagram with pictures of her in a dance rehearsal space, so it seems she is training again, but she has not announced that she’s signed with a company. In October of 2019, she started her own YouTube channel, posting vlog-style videos of her life.
In 2020 she was revealed to be participating in KPOP KRAZY, a K-pop focused musical that is being held mainly in Dubai.
On November 30, 2020 Soyeon debuted with the single “Flower” under Gachi Entertainment.
