Dropping out of medicine and pharmacy, TLinh entered the Vietnamese Rap competition and became one of the most successful names after the first season.
After two seasons of Rap Viet, TLinh is an outstanding female contestant, praised by judges and coaches for her talent. JustaTee commented: “It may take a long time to find a rapper with talent and potential like T Linh. That girl represents Vietnamese rap and proves that women are always number one.” And Suboi called the girl born in 2000 “the future of hip-hop”.
Before becoming famous, T Linh was born in a family with parents working as dentists, achieving high academic achievement. When I was nine years old, I overheard my brother playing the song Poker Face by Lady Gaga, TLinh was swept away. She began to learn, fell in love with music, was facilitated by her parents to learn piano and taught herself the guitar. At the age of 13, Linh tried her hand at The voice kid but stopped before the third round. A year later, she appeared again in the reality show Vietnam – Korea – Vietnamese star, competed with many talents such as Soobin Hoang Son, Suni Ha Linh, Kay Tran. T Linh showed her ability to sing in English and play the guitar, but did not go deep.

Although she has only been acquainted with new music for a few months, she was praised by the Rhymastic judges for her ability to write lyrics and music, similar to American rapper Missy Elliott. During the competition, TLinh kept a stable performance. The contestant’s parts exude a liberal and modern look, conquering the audience in both the audio and the visual parts thanks to their beautiful choreography. On Youtube, many viewers commented that as soon as T Linh spoke, many people immediately recognized the contestant’s voice. Suboi – TLinh’s coach – said she did not favor TLinh because she was a rare female rapper in the competition. As a result, despite only placing third overall, she became one of the most successful names in the game show.

T Linh said there are many plans she wants to do as a lover of art, entertainment and creativity. The rapper doesn’t want to reveal anything in advance, just making sure that everything she does comes from a sincere vibe to the music. TLinh does not care about titles like “new representative of Vietnamese rap”, “queen of new generation rap”.
She said: “I’m not sure if I’m worthy to represent Gen Z. I just tell myself to work hard every day, take advantage of every opportunity to learn and collide to find my own direction. I always want to be different, afraid of safety”.
