Ruby Nguyen – Fulbright University Vietnam

Ruby Nguyen is the Student Engagement Manager, responsible for developing and managing programs and initiatives that serve student clubs and organizations at Fulbright University Vietnam. Through collaborative work with Faculty and other University services to provide holistic advising and support that meets the evolving needs of the student community.

Helping students develop into leaders has been a passion for Ruby since her undergraduate days, when she started her on-campus club that empowered its members to find their voice and confidence.

Before joining Fulbright, Ruby worked in a similar capacity at RMIT Vietnam in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh campuses for nearly eight years. During her time at RMIT, she focused on developing and implementing a comprehensive Student Life program that empowers students, provides leadership experiences, builds community, and enhances academic endeavors. She worked to develop pathways to leadership for more than 6000 students through programs including; Emerging Leaders Project, LEAD Program, Leadership Camp, and Student Leadership Recognition Awards.

She graduated from Keuka College (USA) with a B.S. in Management and received her Executive MBA from the Asian Institute of Technology (Vietnam). She is also working on finishing her PhD.

Ruby is also an entrepreneur in her spare time, running her own fashion business. Above all, she finds solace in being surrounded by her family and friends.
