RomaPress | Radja Nainggolan denies rumors of a return to Roma
Belgian midfielder Radja Nainggolan was asked to address the recent rumors that have linked him with a potential return to the Italian capital as Roma are searching for a temporary replacement for Gini Wijnaldum.
The former Giallorossi player denied the rumors saying, “These rumors spread very quickly. Perhaps a fan saw a decent replacement in me for a player that was recently signed and got injured, but it’s not reality.”
“I know the fans would like me to return and so would I. A lot of people mistake gossip for truth, and the reality is that the rumors are not true,” he said in an interview with New Sound Level.
“This city loves me as much as I love it. Because I always get excited thinking about. I made the wrong choice when I left. It’s a decision I regret to this day.”
“I am happy with the milestones I achieved with Roma because I still love the club.”
