Career & Fame

Boselli’s career, both academically and as a model & fashion icon have been on parallel roads to success throughout his life. While he was still in school, Pietro was discovered by ‘Giorgio Armani’ for their junior campaign. He went on to become the face of ‘Armani Junior’ for five consecutive years until he was 11 years old and was even signed by a model agency in Milan. Following that, he took a break from modeling to focus on his studies.

He returned to modeling in 2006, with a campaign for ‘Armani’ and quickly found himself being signed by the ‘Beatrice Models Management’ agency. This was his first season in men’s fashion. His crafted physique with exceedingly good looks soon caught the attention of the fashion industry and it seemed that there would be no stopping the model.

In 2007, Pietro Boselli moved to London to study Mechanical Engineering at the ‘University College London’. Success was soon to follow as he was awarded for being the best in the engineering faculty in 2008 and was made a senior mentor the next year. He continued doing ‘Armani’ shows exclusively, but most of his time was spent on academics. During this time he was not signed to any agency and most of his clients came from direct scouting which included brands like ‘Abercrombie & Fitch’.

2010 turned out to be a massive year for the young academic-model. He graduated with First Class Honours in Mechanical Engineering. Consequently, he also started his PhD at ‘UCL’ the same year, focusing on “computational fluid dynamics based design of steam turbines, sponsored by Hitachi, Japan”.

His aptitude in mathematics, found him teaching math to second-year students at ‘UCL’. It was around this time in 2015, that a student noticed his physique and while researching found out about his modeling career. The student posted about it on Facebook and it went viral. Pietro Boselli became an overnight sensation worldwide, earning him the moniker ‘world’s sexiest math teacher’.

The young Italian continued his successful career trajectory in academics by submitting his PhD thesis in 2014. He was eventually awarded his PhD on February 16, 2016. Towards the end of his academic career, Pietro had already started re-launching himself into the world of fashion with ‘Models1’ agency. He started modeling full-time after 2016 and has since become one of the top models in the world.

He not only has clients like ‘Vogue’, ‘Equinox’, ‘Estée Lauder’, ‘GQ’, and ‘Attitude’ but has been photographed by iconic photographers like Weber, Rankin, Vivanco etc. He has also been the face of ‘Emporio Armani EA7 sportswear’ for four straight years. Additionally, on January 11, 2018, Boselli launched his own sportswear brand ‘Petra Design’. Created entirely by him, it has been hugely successful.
