Mr. A was a Beyonder of the Hanged Man Pathway. He was worships the True Creator and was one of 22 Oracles of the Aurora Order. He organized Beyonder gatherings to make and conduct various trades in Backlund.

Mr. A usually wears a hooded robe, hiding his looks under a shadow. Under the hood, he has a beautiful, devilishly feminine face and extreme madness and confidence in his cold eyes.

Mr. A is no longer as carefree and indifferent as before, with him always looking at everyone in a supercilious manner. The current him seems to be very repressed —like he’s trying his best to control something. He feels a lot more dangerous now. In the past, Mr. A was a mountain. Now, he’s more like a reared up snake, sticking out its tongue vociferously…

Mr. A was a sequence 5 of the Hanged Man Pathway allowing him to graze up to 7 Beyonders’ souls to use some of their abilities, when he died he had the following souls:

Mr. A first appeared in Volume 1, when Xio Derecha and Fors Wall took Viscount Glaint and Audrey Hall to the secret gathering where Mr. A was a leader.[2] Later, when Klein is targeted by Bakerland and issue the assassination mission in the Tarot Club. Audrey accepted this mission and let Fors and Xio hired Mr. A to completed this task.[3][4]

Mr. A has ambition to allow The True Creator to descend onto the land. After he failed several times, Mr. A started to receive punishment from the True Creator.

Afterward, he received the ‘divine epiphany’ from the True Creator[5], Mr. A launched a reward for looking for The Fools’ Blessed and believers in his secret gathering in Backlund.[6]

Mr. A was a representative of the Aurora Order cooperating with Panatiya from the Demoness Sect to create a large-scale sacrificial ritual in Backlund.[7]

He was later erased by the Grade 0 Sealed Artifact 0-17 “Angel of Concealment” during his fight with Klein in his identity as Sherlock Moriarty[8] and sent to the Foggy Town.[9]

In the Foggy Town, Klein tricked him into direct contact with fish, Frank’s mushrooms, and water, which would cause the mushrooms to grow on his flesh (as Rose Bishop).[10]

Later, Mr. A failed to escape from Klein’s trap and observed the complete mythical state of the mad Antigonus causing his mind to die instantly, and his body to collapse. The collapse caused a terrifying mutation and he combined with Senor and Creeping Hunger, turning into a gigantic mushroom.[11] All of these turned into a brand new Creeping Hunger with new abilities and fear of mushrooms.
