Linh Cao – Homan, Stone & Rossi

LINH CAOis a Senior Attorney at Homan, Stone & Rossi. Her practice focuses on general civil defense in personal injury, employment, and complex matters.

Prior to joining Homan, Stone & Rossi, Ms. Cao worked for a nationwide law firm representing clients in Federal and State court in a variety of cases and administrative actions, including claims for FEHA harassment, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour, and fair housing practices. Ms. Cao also worked for a public entity defense firm in the Inland Empire where she counseled and defended clients with respect to labor and employment matters, complex litigation claims and personal injury matters. In July 2019, Ms. Cao successfully defended at trial the County of San Bernardino in a traumatic brain injury case, wherein the net verdict was substantially lower than the County’s CCP § 998 offer. Consequently, this allowed the County to recover substantial costs from the net result. Ms. Cao also worked for an Orange County law firm that specialized in general civil defense and insurance litigation. While there she litigated matters involving personal injury, product liability, commercial general liability, and premises liability representing insurance carriers, public entities, and corporations. 

Ms. Cao earned her Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School and participated in the school’s accelerated SCALE program, in which students complete three years of law school courses in just two years. In addition to her regular course load, she was a member of the Trial Advocacy Honors Program and worked as an extern at the L.A. County District Attorney’s office, gaining valuable courtroom experience. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Political Science from California State University, Los Angeles.
