Where to Find
Four quests must be completed to obtain Kyubi.

The first quest is called “Flower for the Shrine.” This quest can be obtained from a lady in the Gourd Pond Museum during the Post Game. You must find the Forever Flower item by defeating Pinkipoo in the Yo-kai World. It will randomly drop or may be in wisps. Take it to the shrine behind the waterfall in Mount Wildwood and obtain Dromp. The walkthrough on getting to the shrine can be found on the Mount Wildwood page.
The second quest is called “Take Out Tengu!” This quest can be obtained from Eddie’s mom in Breezy Hills. Go to Infinite Inferno and obtain the Typhoon Fan from Greesel. It will randomly drop. Next, go to the forest to the northwest of Breezy Hills. Look for a rock where you can use the Tengu Fan. Fight and defeat Tengu to befriend him.
The third quest is called “An Offered Sword.” This quest is obtained from a lady at the Fortune hospital in Downtown Springdale. Go to the Yo-kai World and fight Reuknight until you obtain the Betrayed Blade. It will randomly drop or may be in wisps. Next, go to the graveyard behind Shoten Temple in Blossom Heights. Look for a grave where you can use the item. Fight and defeat Zerberker to befriend him.
The fourth quest is given by Kyubi on the rooftop of the Springdale elementary school at night. Go to Infinite Inferno and look for Mama Aura in the 3rd and 4th circles. Fight her until she drops the Golden Tofu item. It will randomly drop or may be in wisps. Take this item to the small shrine at Mount Wildwood. Speak with the Mirapo to the right of the shrine to return to the summer festival. Examine the shrine to fight Kyubi. If you can defeat him, you will automatically befriend him.
