However, she later faced criticism for her acting skills in and . Nevertheless, she received recognition for her acting through , which was broadcast by KBS2 in 2006. Furthermore, 2 years later in 2008, she was awarded with the Best Actress Award in Baeksang Arts Awards as well as the Best Main Actress accolade from Busan Korea Film Critics Society for the movie .
