Jang Geun Suk
Jang Geun Suk is a popular South Korean actor, model and singer. Born on August 4, 1987, he started working as a child model at the age of 5 after being discovered by a talent agent. In junior high school, Jang Geun Suk attended school in New Zealand, where he learned to speak both English and Japanese. He made his acting debut as a child actor in 1997 in the television sitcom “Selling Happiness,” going on to star in many popular television dramas into adulthood, including “Mary Stayed Out All Night” (2010), “Love Rain” (2012), “Beautiful Man” (2013), “Jackpot” (2016) and “Switch” (2018). Jang Geun Suk also began contributing songs for the soundtracks of some of his dramas and released his first single, “Let Me Cry,” in 2011, becoming the first non-Japanese artist to debut at No. 1 on the Oricon single charts.
