The vision of Tagore Society  is to lead the local community and beyond from entertainment to enlightenment .
Tagore Society of Houston (TSH) tries to accomplish the goal of this vision through various types of activities as listed below:

Outreach Activities  – conduct events/programs  with the participation of all communities which include but not limited to Indian , Bangladesh and American second generation.
Traditional Cultural Activities – hold annual picnic in a local park,  celebrate Rabindra-Nazrul Jayanti Bengali cultural programs
Trust/Endowment Activities :  Sponsor exchange students/scholars, speaker series and annual member appreciation awards.
Other Activities – Cultural programs inviting overseas artists as well as local artists to perform Indian  and Western Classical Music, conduct literary workshops, art exhibition, Book Fair, Book reading.
