Gina M. Tetorakis

Gina focuses her practice on representing and defending employers against claims for discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and failure to accommodate, as well as various Labor Code wage and hour claims. She has extensive experience responding to charges brought before the Department of Fair Employment and Housing and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, representing employers in administrative hearings, resolving matters pre-litigation, as well as litigating claims in both state and federal courts.
Gina received her law degree from American University, Washington College of Law, where she was a senior staff member of the Business Law Review. While in law school, she interned for the Office of General Counsel for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Gina also interned for the Federal National Mortgage Association (Fannie Mae) and was assigned to work at Venable LLP. In addition, Gina completed a judicial externship with the Honorable Gary E. Bair of the Montgomery County Circuit Court, 6th Judicial Circuit.
As a law clerk for the American Chemistry Council, Gina examined legal issues pertaining to the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986 (Proposition 65). Her research contributions were published in the Journal of Business & Technology Law Review of the University of Maryland, Francis King Carey School of Law.
