Former Chelsea centre-back Gary Cahill released by Bournemouth
Former Chelsea centre-back Gary Cahill is among five Bournemouth players to be released by the club following the expiry of their contracts.
The 36-year-old made 22 appearances as Bournemouth secured automatic promotion to the Premier League after beating Nottingham Forest 1-0 on the penultimate day of the season.
Cahill has made 395 Premier League appearances over 17 years, and won two Premier League titles, a Champions League, and two FA Cups during a seven-year spell at the club. He has also played for Aston Villa, Bolton Wanderers, and Crystal Palace.
He won 61 England caps between 2010 and 2018.
Defender Brennan Camp, 21, midfielder Ryan Glover, 21, forward Connor Kurran-Browne, 20, and midfielder Luke Nippard, 21, join the former England international on the list of players set to leave the Vitality Stadium this summer.
