Eduardo is an associate in the firm’s Labor & Employment Group. His experience includes counseling employers regarding compliance with both state and federal laws and regulations; representing clients before the California Department of Fair Employment & Housing, the California Unemployment Insurance Board, and other state and federal agencies; and defending employers in both state and federal courts against actions involving employment discrimination, wrongful termination, and wage and hour claims.

Eduardo also has experience in traditional labor law and labor–management relations. Specifically, he has represented employers before the National Labor Relations Board in representation proceedings and investigations of unfair labor practice charges.

Eduardo maintains an active pro bono practice. He frequently represents clients in immigration proceedings, including U visa and asylum proceedings, as well as the Form I-9 process. Prior to joining Reed Smith, Eduardo was a law clerk at Esperanza Immigrant Rights Project, representing clients in cancellation of removal proceedings.

Eduardo is committed to DE&I efforts. He is a member of Reed Smith’s Hispanic business inclusion group, UNIDOS, and is an active member of the Mexican American Bar Association.
