Dong-hae is a South Korean Air Defense Corvette that appears in Wargame: Red Dragon.

In Game Info

The Dong-hae is best used as an anti-air ship for screening the rest of your ships, or alternatively, as a coastal defence ship against landing ships and enemy land forces. It has very good gun-based AA and can easily bring down ASM helicopters and ASM aircraft of they are flying too close to it. Keep in mind that since the Dong-hae uses gun-based AA, its range is not overly good, so it is advisable to keep it near the front or behind cover. It is fairly slow at only 22 knots, but its main flaw is that it has no CIWS or AA missiles, so it must rely entirely on friendly ships or its own ECM to hold off anti-ship missiles. For this reason the Dong-hae should be kept close to other ships; if it is by itself it will be quickly destroyed. This ship is best paired with a Po-hang: with one protecting the fleet from missiles, and the other protecting them from aircraft, both are reasonably cheap and excel at their roles.
