Cassano Biography | Division of Nutritional Sciences

Patricia A. Cassano, M.P.H., Ph.D., is the Alan D. Mathios Professor and Director, Division of Nutritional Sciences, and Professor, Department of Population Health Studies, Division of Epidemiology Weill Cornell Medicine, and Director of Graduate Studies for the Minor Field of Epidemiology in the Cornell University Graduate School.

Pat is an epidemiologist with interests in nutrition and genetics. She has specialized expertise in the etiology of respiratory diseases and methodological expertise in the design, conduct and analysis of analytical epidemiological studies, in particular long-term prospective cohort studies incorporating biological markers of nutrition and metabolism and molecular markers of genetic variation.
