Free Fire x BTS churns out a suite of new features for fans and players. 

After announcing BTS as the new ambassadors of Garena Free Fire earlier this month, the popular battle royale mobile game unveils exciting new related content, available from 1st April. 

Kicking off the month with a bang, Free Fire introduces a new Rush Hour for players called Akimbo Mode on the 1st. The newest feature allows gamers to use the Akimbo Activator and wield weapons in both hands, instead of just one, during Battle Royales, assuring more thrill during gameplay. In addition, gamers can also anticipate a Deadly Baguette baseball bat skin upon logging in on the same day. 

BANDWAGON TV

Teasing a special-edition music video of the band’s hit, ‘IDOL’, fan-favorite characters like Maxim, Alvaro, Hayato, D-Bee, Shirou, Wolfrahh, and Kla are slated to make an appearance in the exclusive video. Created in conjunction with the ongoing Gen FF campaign that aims to empower players worldwide, fans can look out for the video’s debut on 2nd April.

Similarly, on 2nd April, the 2019 Most Downloaded Game takes inspiration from global superstars BTS’ musicality to unveil an in-game rhythm-led event, allowing players to achieve event milestones while jamming to the top tracks from Free Fire. Named ‘Pop Sway’, the special themed event is also Gen FF-themed.
