Blue Ivy Carter Birthday

Background

Blue Ivy Carter was dubbed the ‘New Princess of Pop by “Rolling Stone” magazine. Two days after her birth, she featured on her father’s single ‘Glory.’ Jay-Z released the song to celebrate her birth. ‘Glory’ made Carter the youngest person to chart on the Billboard charts. Since her birth, her parents have helped secure trademarks of her name for numerous products. The race for trademarks led to her mother’s argument that Carter is a cultural icon. She later featured as part of the choir on the Coldplay song ‘Up & Up’ in 2015. In 2018, she began attending West Hollywood’s The Center for Early Education.

In 2020, Carter appeared on her mother’s track ‘Brown Skin Girl.’ As a result, she became the youngest winner of a BET Award. She also received the Soul Train Music Award for The Ashford & Simpson Songwriter’s Award. In November 2020, Carter read Matthew A. Cherry’s book, “Hair Love.” The book described an African-American father’s experience as he styled his daughter’s hair.

Carter has enjoyed fame and the many problems that come with it. An example of this is Austin Collin’s 2020 comments about her looks. This conversation took place just before her eighth birthday. Violet Lucca also said something insulting about Carter’s looks in the same conversation. So, this young star has experienced the best of both worlds: the applause of fans and unfair criticism from people who should know better. We will celebrate this child star’s birthday here.
