Amazon.com: Trick Or Treat Studios Gremlins Gizmo Puppet Prop : Toys & Games

I own Trick or Treat’s evil Gremlin and that is a great piece. Full size, well-detailed and convincing. Gizmo isn’t in that league. I think there is some debate over whether this is full-size but the movie Gizmo varies in size from puppet to puppet and they have chosen the cutest size shall we say. It’s 9 inches tall.

Gizmo is mostly fur and that’s a tricky thing not to just look like some soft toy. They don’t fully manage that here but it’s pretty convincing. The paintwork is simplistic – but there is little to paint. As the eyes are such a huge part of Gizmo the fact they are just painted is the biggest issue in recreating his look. As a puppet, it is tiny and really only for the smallest hands.

But the 4 stars are for one simple reason. It looks like Gizmo. They have captured the film look. It’s expensive for its size, but a worthwhile collectable.
