NGOC NGUYEN
Founder/CEO of Nguyen Strategies

Founder/CEO of Nguyen Strategies, a 360 strategy firm, Ngoc Nguyen (pronounced like “Nah Win”), provides unparalleled leadership that draws from over 20 years of experience and relationships across entertainment, sports, culture, and philanthropy. Ngoc’s body of work has achieved huge financial success as well as raised global awareness on issues such as bullying, sexual harassment, gender and racial equity.

As a public relations expert, Ngoc worked for entertainment powerhouses Miramax Films, Creative Artists Agency, and Paramount Pictures before becoming a PR, marketing, digital, and talent relations consultant for clients that included TEDx, CBS Sports, Taste of Tennis Australia, SXSW, and Screen Actors Guild Awards.

While continuing her work in publicity, Ngoc embarked on a journey that would take her to the other side of the industry — producing. As a filmmaker, Ngoc has produced numerous projects that champion the voices of women and girls, including the award-winning documentary, “A Brave Heart: The Lizzie Velasquez Story,” which chronicled Lizzie’s journey from being cruelly labeled “Ugliest Woman in the World” to becoming one of the world’s most respected anti-bullying activists. That film was followed by “Protect Her,” a documentary and four-part education program on sexual assault prevention and then Google’s “Power On” film series, a five-part series that empowered girls in STEAM fields among others. Most recently, Ngoc was a producer for Season 1 of “Everyone is Doing Great,” an independently financed tv series that was acquired by Hulu and Paramount +.

As a Strategist, Ngoc created a new blueprint over a decade ago when she not only combined her strengths as a publicist and producer, but used them interchangeably to develop timely social justice campaigns inside mainstream strategies that incorporate influencers and brands across industries. Long before it became a popular business, guiding companies and individuals towards greater diversity, equity, and inclusion had been central to Ngoc’s professional work and personal activism.

Since 2019, Ngoc has served as Senior Vice President and Head of Entertainment at TIME’S UP, a high-profile women’s advocacy organization where she led strategy, talent relations, communications, and programming on campaigns that served the mission of safe, fair, and dignified work. Efforts under Ngoc’s leadership include initiatives that advocated for female directors, women in production, and underrepresented critics and journalists, including people with disabilities, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and gender non-binary individuals.

Additionally, Ngoc serves as a senior consultant to Acora Partners, a social impact firm, and other clients through her company Nguyen Strategies.
