Rapper ‘Snoopy Blue’ fatally shot in South LA
LOS ANGELES — A man known as rapper Snoopy Blue was shot to death Saturday in South Los Angeles.
The shooting was reported at 1:35 a.m. in the 11600 block of South Central Avenue, according to Los Angeles police Officer Tony Im.
Officers called to the scene found the victim in a vehicle to the rear of the location, Im said.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, Im said.
The coroner’s office identified him as 45-year-old Demond Camper of Los Angeles.
The circumstances of his death were not immediately released and there was no suspect or possible motive information provided.
The music website Discogs.com identified Camper as the rapper known as Snoopy Blue. Apple Music listed some of his songs as “C Day Song,” “Ridin Wit the Locz” and “Shooters.”
