NCT Jaemin Dating Rumor: Did He Really Date Actress Kim Ji In?
The dating rumor about NCT Jaemin and Kim Ji In took place back in April 2020. It started when netizens saw something interesting in the actress’s Instagram story.
On April 29, Kim Ji In made a friendly shout-out to actor Kim Gyu Tae through her Instagram story. Kim Gyu Tae was starring in the new Netflix original series “Extracurricular” at that time.
Her story included a screenshot of Netflix’s main page and the poster for “Extracurricular.” She also tagged Kim Gyu Tae’s Instagram handle and wrote, “Go big!”
Kim Ji In’s Instagram story, however, sparked a rumor, particularly a dating rumor with NCT Jaemin.
Some eagle-eyed followers of the actress noticed a name that got halfway captured at the bottom part of the screenshot. It read “Top Picks for Na Jae Min.” This led netizens to believe the Netflix account belongs to NCT Jaemin.
Kim Ji In’s Instagram story was later deleted, hence, netizens became more suspicious and presumed that the actress and the idol may be in a romantic relationship.
While some believed that it could be a simple “sharing of the account,” others insisted that there’s no reason for an idol to share his Netflix account with an actress unless they are really a couple.
Since then, neither NCT Jaemin nor Kim Ji In addressed their dating rumor.
This is not the first time that the two celebrities were involved in such a rumor. Back when they were filming their web drama “Way to Dislike You,” people began to believe that they were dating in real life. They had such an amazing on-screen chemistry, which received great feedback.
The dating rumor between NCT Jaemin and Kim Ji grew when they were spotted wearing similar things.
However, NCT’s agency, SM Entertainment, firmly denied the rumor and commented, “They are only close friends” and “The rings are both UNICEF rings.”
Despite SM Entertainment’s denial, some people claimed that the dating rumor of NCT Jaemin and Kim Ji In is true. But because of their loyalty to the male idol and to respect the stars’ privacies, they decided to stop talking about Jaemin’s relationship.

When it comes to NCT Jaemin’s ideal type, he wants someone who can be very affectionate and is not afraid to show it. He needs someone who can show him that they love him, so he is looking for a person who would continuously remind him how much they love him through displays of affection.
