Donghae
Lee Dong Hae, who also goes by just Donghae, is a South Korean singer, songwriter and actor. Born on October 15, 1986, he is best known for being a member of the popular boy band Super Junior and its subgroup Super Junior-M. He also is a part of the collaboration duo Donghae & Eunhyuk and the dance-focused group SM The Performance. Even from a young age, Donghae wanted to become a singer and his dream came true in 2001 after winning a prize at SM Entertainment’s “Youth Best Contest.” He debuted with Super Junior 05, the precursor to Super Junior, in 2005. Donghae made his acting debut in Super Junior’s horror documentary “Mystery 6” in 2006 and went on to star in many other television dramas, including “It’s Alright, Daddy’s Daughter” (2010), “Panda and the Hedgehog” (2012) and “God’s Quiz Season 4” (2014). Donghae also holds the distinction of being one of only four Korean artists to appear on a Chinese postage stamp.
