VU THANH, a pseudonym adopted by Quang Thanh Vo, was born in Binh Dinh, Viet Nam in 1956. In his early years, the author attended Cuong De High School in 1968 and pursued the professor degree of mathematics at Saigon Pedagogical University in 1978. Married with two children, the author immigrated to America in 1993. In 1995, he attended Florida Atlantic University and completed his degree in Business Administration.
Vu Thanh is well-versed in writing Vietnamese music, poetry, and novels. His songs have been performed on ASIA Entertainment by his son, Quoc Khanh. The author is recognized for HON VONG PHU, a 2,466 alexandrine lines poem, published in 2012. He has donated his published works to myriad of public libraries, including the Library of Congress.
The author is currently working on his third set of the historical novel, TAY SON TAM KIET. The first set, EN LIENG TRUONG MAY (4 books, 1,750 pages), was published in 2014 and the second set, NHAT THONG SON HA (4 books, 1,700 pages), was published in 2015. The third set, GIA DINH TAM HUNG, is scheduled for release in 2016.
