Yang Hyun Suk
Yang Hyun Suk is an icon in the South Korean music industry. He was a part of Seo Taiji & Boys, which was active from 1992 to 1996 and is credited to be the first modern Korean boy band to enjoy a huge amount of success. After the group disbanded in 1996, Yang Hyun Suk founded YG Entertainment in 1998 and serves as the company’s CEO. YG is now one of the biggest record companies in South Korea and represents many of today’s popular music idols, such as Big Bang, 2NE1, Epik High, Tablo, PSY, Akdong Musician, WINNER and iKON. Yang Hyun Suk served as a judge on the music competition reality show “Superstar K” in 2009 and has been a judge on “K-Pop Star” since 2011. He is married to former Swi.T member Lee Eunju and they have two kids.
