Sinead O’Shea
Sinead O’Shea is a Partner in the Firm’s London office concentrating on debt finance matters. Sinead has deep experience in a range of cross-border senior and subordinated financings, with an emphasis on infrastructure finance, leveraged acquisition finance and syndicated corporate facilities.
Selected transactions include the representation of:
- Calisen plc (formerly Calvin Capital) and KKR in connection with its revolving credit facility
- BlackRock and KKR Infrastructure in connection with the financing for their acquisition of a 40% stake in ADNOC Oil Pipelines
- Q-Park in connection with its super senior revolving credit facility
- KKR Infrastructure in connection with multiple financings, including for its acquisitions of Hyperoptic, Q-Park, Calvin Capital, a stake in Telxius and a stake in the fibre business of Altice France
- Melrose plc in connection with the financing for its acquisition of GKN plc and its working capital facilities
- Energia Group (formerly Viridian) in connection with its super senior revolving credit facility
- JPMorgan Chase in connection with the second lien financing for Ithaca Energy
- Logicor in connection with its revolving credit facilities
- Silver Lake in connection with the financing for its acquisitions of Zoopla plc and Cegid
- ChemChina in the financing for its acquisition of Syngenta
Sinead joined Simpson Thacher in 2000. She is currently based in the Firm’s London office and has also worked in the Firm’s New York and Hong Kong offices. She received an LL.M. in 1996 and a Bachelor of Civil Law degree in 1994 from University College Cork, Ireland, and a Barrister-at-law degree in 1998 from the Honorable Society of King’s Inns, Ireland. She is admitted to the New York bar and the Law Society of England and Wales and practises both New York and English law.
