Ping has created the ultimate player-specific, custom option filled line for women. The G LE 2 Iron sets are made to fit the needs of any female player who wants to take their game to new heights. The combo hybrid/iron sets feature all the technology and forgiveness your current older set is lacking. The hybrids replace those harder to hit long and mid irons, and feature a thinner, hotter CarTec Custom 455 face which generates super-fast ball speeds. The lower and deeper center of gravity increases MOI (moment of inertia) which means the club twists less on off-center hits and launches the ball higher with ease. Soft crown turbulators are in place to aid the player visually with alignment. The hybrids are avilable in 4H, 5H, 6H, and 7H.
The irons are light overall and feature COR-Eye Technology with a deep top-rail undercut cavity, which increases face-flex for maximum ball speeds and a higher launch angle. A Tungsten weight placed in the toe, increases MOI by 10%, which keeps the club more stable at impact and leads to greater forgiveness. The irons are available in 6-PW, UW, and SW.
