Hotels Near Nguyen Gia Thieu High School In Hanoi – 2022 Hotels | Trip.com

Stayed for 2 nights recently at the end of our trip in Vietnam. Had a great welcome by the staff, all very friendly and willing to do anything to help your stay be as comfortable as possible. We did their laundry service which was fabulous, a good price and came quickly. Breakfast was mediocre, not much available but the Pho was delicious. We were offered an upgraded room for an extra $5 dollars but had to change to next door the following night. They claim it has a lake view but we couldn’t see the lake at all. We didn’t care for the view anyway, but there is not point lying about it to future customers. The last room we had had dark mud stains all over the light curtain and stains on the bed. When asked to write a review at the end of our stay, we are watched until finished writing it. After all the positives we had written, we were made to feel uncomfortable about the little things that weren’t great about the room, I feel they really push for great reviews. We have now moved on to another country backpacking, and my partner receives several whatsapp messages from one of the staff members at the hotel. She retrieved his number via booking.com to communicate first off about whether we need an airport transfer. However this time they are continuing to push for a good review which is now getting annoying. She sends heart emojis to him and says she misses him so much. Which may be their version of customer service lost in translation, but it is a little inappropriate to message your customers this way. This hotel would’ve received a lot more stars, but after how much of a big deal has been made about our tiny comments about the stains and how much we’ve been pestered to leave a good review, it has ruined the experience for us.
