Areum Apartments – Monrovia, CA | Apartments.com
I’ve only been here a month, but I love the Areum community. This place definitely has the luxury vibe – so much better compared to other apartments we toured around San Gabriel Valley. The amenities are great and the staff is very responsive and helpful.
Parking – There is a gated parking structure with parking for each level. There is plenty of parking so no need to fight for a spot. Guest parking on bottom floor. The parking structure entrance is on a side road so there is never any traffic getting In or out.
Units – the units are quite spacious. I’m in the 4th floor and my unit has high ceilings and lighting everywhere. The bedroom is huge, the bathroom is huge, and the kitchen is huge. From what I can tell, every unit has a balcony – each one varies in size depending on the unit size and location. In unit laundry and AC? Check! Fully furnished kitchen? Check!
Facilities – Everything is clean and well maintained. I’ve only seen one area needing maintenance it it was resolved within a couple of days. Areum is pet friendly and there is a walking path with a few grassy areas to take your doggos for a walk.
Amenities – Mail room with package lockers, pool, club house (rentable), fitness center, fire pits, grill, outdoor chill area, WiFi access in common areas.
Neighborhood – it’s considerably quiet considering how close Areum to the main cross street and the freeway. It feels like a safe community as well – Areum sits directly on the border of Arcadia and Monrovia. There a bunch of places to eat within a 5 minute drive, and there is a very nice West Field mall just down the street. Also, the 626 Night Market is just a few minutes away – so convenient when it’s going on! Very easy freeway access.
