90 Day Fiancé: Deavan Gives Update On Jihoon Amid Son’s Cancer Battle
While Jihoon Lee of the 90 Day Fiancé franchise remains mum about son Taeyang’s cancer diagnosis, his ex-wife Deavan Clegg is out to expose him. Jihoon, 28, met Deavan, 20, on a dating app and flew to the U.S. to meet her before their 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way debut. Deavan realized she was pregnant right when Jihoon was leaving, and the couple then continued their journey on reality TV. After two seasons, Deavan and Jihoon separated due to mysterious circumstances, which the show never revealed. Recently, Deavan confirmed that she and Jihoon were divorced and that she was granted full physical custody of their son who was recently diagnosed with leukemia.

Before giving 90 Day Fiancé fans the unfortunate news about Taeyang, Deavan wrote about how it took two years for her divorce from Jihoon to be finalized. Deavan alleged that her storyline with Jihoon on The Other Way season 1 was 96 percent fake, and season 2 was about 50/50. As per Deavan, she and Jihoon ended their relationship in November and not in May, as the show depicted. She claimed they continued filming regardless since Jihoon had debts and she had medical bills to pay. Deavan mentioned that Jihoon had blocked her since she came back to America from South Korea and that he didn’t wish Taeyang on his third birthday.

In a screenshot of Deavan’s conversation with a 90 Day Fiancé fan on Instagram, acquired by @truecrime_jankie, she added more details to Jihoon’s relationship with Taeyang. Deavan has written that Jihoon was given “an entire year” by the judge to fight for his son’s custody. She wrote that everything was virtual, including the court. “Every paper and court hearing had go to sent to his address and accepted and signed by him and be fully translated in Korean!” Deavan added. She claims to have paid “so much money so he had his resources.”
Utah resident Deavan wrote that it is Jihoon’s fault and that no one has taken his son away from him. “HE WANTS NOTHING TO DO WITH TAEYANG,” Deavan told the 90 Day Fiancé viewer. She also commented that she posted “the messages” and the “Korean investigation.” Deavan says she has proved countless times that she never lied. Fans reading the post agreed with Deavan since they haven’t seen Jihoon posting about anything to do with his son in the past year. He appears to have deleted the pictures of Taeyang he had on Instagram and he’s not mentioned Taeyang’s b-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia diagnosis.
This seems odd to his followers especially because several of Deavan’s 90 Day Fiancé co-stars are not only praying for Taeyang’s speedy recovery but are also wholeheartedly sharing the link to Deavan’s GoFundMe. It is with their constant shout-outs and fans’ donations that Deavan has managed to raise almost $20,000 so far towards her $50,000 goal. Jihoon’s latest Instagram post is him showing off his new perm in a selfie. Jihoon never respond to Deavan’s comments about their “fake” relationship and divorce, and hasn’t commented about his ailing son, which many 90 Day Fiancé fans think is concerning.
