Meet Mimi Brown

You thought that was it for Mimi? Not even close. Mimi’s latest independent production is the ‘Becoming Dope Podcast’, an exciting new platform that sees the journalist host open conversations with leading experts, athletes, celebrities and public figures to discuss their life and career struggles and successes – in other words, Mimi gets to the core of their story and finds out exactly how they ‘Become Dope’.

This makin’, movin’, shakin’ Entertainment Producer and Host has made it clear that she loves what she does – Mimi said in a recent interview: “As a girl from Alaska, I never even knew jobs like this existed. Each day I get to tell a different story or highlight the newest fashion or fitness craze or talk to my favorite celebrity about their new project. Every day is fun, exciting and a new experience, and I love that.”

Mimi holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Howard University and a Master’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism from American University. She’s also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated. Exciting things are in the mix for Mimi Brown.
