Nguyen Thi Thao Nguyen – Fulbright University Vietnam

“Sometimes you don’t choose your job, but the job chooses you” might be best to describe Nguyen’s path to working in the education sector. Graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from VNUHCM – University of Science in 2009, Nguyen once dreamed of becoming a chemical scientist. Yet as true as life rarely goes the way we expect, the next ten years have taken Nguyen through different roles in banking, finance and eventually education.

Wherever her career landed, one interesting overlapping point was the focus on customer service excellence. Such experience has accumulated into her passion for helping to enhance the student experience during the last four years working at RMIT University Vietnam, and now at Fulbright University Vietnam. As part of her lifelong learning goal, Nguyen has also obtained an MBA degree from the University of Northampton in 2014.

Outside of work, Nguyen is a yoga lover and enjoys good bonding time with her baby girl.

Nguyen hopes to deliver the Customer Experience that our students have come to expect at Fulbright University Vietnam.
