A career in medicine allows me to combine my interest in the sciences with an opportunity to have a positive impact on people’s lives and in the community. Providing patients with the best possible care requires careful listening, understanding, and shared decision-making to achieve health care goals. From providing education and guidance to families so that children can grow strong and healthy, to collaborating with subspecialists to manage an adult’s medical needs, I hope to care for patients through various stages of life. I find joy in building long-lasting relationships with my patients and helping them achieve better health. I practice pediatrics and internal medicine. I have a particular interest in transitional care, in other words, helping children and families with chronic medical conditions transition to the world of adult medicine.
